Ella Adventuring
Ella is a small town in Badulla District,
Sri Lanka. This is a town surrounded with misty mountains, beautiful green of tea
estates and gushing waterfalls. Train trip to Ella from Colombo is one of the
most wonderful train trips.
Hike to Ella Rock
This hike allow you to hike up to the
Ella rock. When you come to the peak you will be delighted with the scenic
beauty of the environment. During this picturesque hike you can view the
Namunukula Range, Little Adam’s Peak, Badulla Rail track. The entire hike takes
time duration of 3 hours.

Hike to Little Adam’s
Peak and Nine Arch Bridge
The Little
Adam’s Peak hike takes about two-hour roundtrip from Ella town, and starts in
the lush tea plantations before slowly snaking its way to the first set of
viewpoints. The summit of the mountain has a great view of the area specially
morning and evening.
Nine
Arch Bridge is standing across the valley giving a glorious view to your eye. The
Nine Arch Bridge is built entirely out of brick, rock and cement where no
any metal used in bridge construction and completed in 1921.It is a real beauty
to watch the scenery of the bridge standing through the green of tea estates.
It takes around 40 minutes to reach the bridge.
