Kite Surfing
This is one of the most famous water sport around the world.
This is kind of fusion of Surfing, Wind surfing and Kite flying. In Sri Lanka
there are places where you can practice, enjoy this adventurous sport with
professional guidance.

This sport should be guided with a proper guidance and you
should not try this if you are a beginner in this. Tuition of this is
individual and done by well experienced trainers which they require the
beginners to have the lessons for two days. It may takes around five days to
get a proper training.
Kites and boards can be rented and the Kite surfing center is
located in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka. There are two seasons for this sport: summer
season which runs May to October and winter season from mid-December to mid-March. Both these seasons are dry and windy. Kite
surfing is a real adrenaline sport which could give an extreme experience to
you.
